We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties if:

• The processing is necessary to execute a contract with you,

• The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation,

• The processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in preventing the disclosure of your data.

Storage and Deletion of Data
We store your personal data only as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned here or as required by legal retention periods. After that, the corresponding data is routinely and legally blocked or deleted.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data center in Helsinki, Finland (European Union). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

When you visit the website, the web server automatically records data in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, amount of data transferred, status code, browser and operating system (user agent) and the previously visited page (referrer). This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days and are not combined with other data.

Cookies and statistics (Google Analytics)

This website does not set any cookies by itself. Only if you click “Accept” in the notice on your first visit do I use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google then sets cookies and receives data about how you use this website, for example pages viewed, time spent, approximate location, device and browser. The data may also be transferred to Google servers in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. A data processing agreement is in place with Google. The data is deleted after 2 months.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG). If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page or in the menu. No data is passed on to advertising networks.

Fonts, images and videos

All fonts, images and videos are loaded directly from this server. There is no connection to font services such as Adobe Fonts or Google Fonts or to any other external servers, except for Google Analytics if you have given your consent.

Usage rights calculator

All calculations in the usage rights calculator run exclusively in your browser. Your input is not transmitted to any server. The state of the calculation is kept only in the part of the address after the #, which your browser does not send to the server.

Contact by e-mail

If you write to me by e-mail, I use your e-mail address and your message solely to process your request. The data is not passed on to third parties, except to the e-mail provider that runs my mailboxes (Zoho Mail, servers in the EU).
