Frei wählbarer Multiplikator für individuelle Aspekte, die sonst nicht abgebildet sind, etwa Eilzuschlag, besondere Marktposition, strategischer Wunschkunde oder Risikoaufschlag. 1,0 = neutral, unter 1 = Abschlag, über 1 = Zuschlag. Wirkt multiplikativ auf die Zwischensumme und fließt in den ausgewiesenen Anpassungsfaktor ein.

Frequently asked questions about design rights
What are usage rights in design?
Rights of use specify what a client is permitted to do with a design: for what purpose, where, for how long and to what extent. The design and its use are remunerated separately. The more widely and for longer a work is used, the higher the remuneration for its use.
How is the usage fee calculated?
The basis is the design fee. This is calculated using a usage factor. In the VTV Design system, four individual factors are added together: type of use, area of use, duration of use and scope of use. At designaustria, the factors are multiplied; these include area, time period, type and nature of the commission, as well as factors specific to the subject matter and significance.
What is the difference between the two schemes?
'Additive' means that the factors are added together. 'Multiplicative' means that the factors are multiplied by one another, which causes the values to increase more rapidly. On the calculator, you can switch between the two and compare the results.
Can I take into account the size of the client or whether it is a charity?
Yes. In the third step, you can factor in customer size, order type, non-profit status, tiered usage and your own multiplier. These are your own indicative figures with no basis in the tariff structure. They are shown separately in the results.
Will my entries be saved?
No. All calculations take place in your browser. The result of the calculation is only shown in the part of the address after the #, which your browser does not send to the server. This means you can share it as a link.
