In my first project as a freelance designer, I was faced with the challenge of realising a large stage area with a small budget.

I integrated the stage theme "Heat" into the stage design using a simple but consistent colour concept with textile banners. These were woven through a lay scaffold and reinforced the visual effect. The central design gesture, however, was the pyramid-like shape, which I achieved with two slanted, stepped scaffolding constructions with a height of 12 metres.
Fire effects placed on the outside created an impressive volcano effect in the dark, culminating in a flame up to eight metres high.
